“Customer” refers to any individual purchasing or using any of our products or services.
“Digital Products” includes preset packs, online courses, and branding/logo materials available for purchase.
“Services” refers to all coaching, courses, workshops, and photography services provided by Chasing Perspectives.
2. Purchasing Digital Products and Services
Eligibility
- Customers must be at least 16 years of age to make purchases. By purchasing, you confirm you meet this requirement.
Payment and Fees
- All prices are in AUD unless stated otherwise
- Payment is required in full unless a payment plan or deposit structure is specified
- Taxes may apply depending on your location
3. Intellectual Property
All content provided is the exclusive property of Chasing Perspectives.
- eBooks: Licensed for individual use only. No sharing or redistribution
- Preset Packs: Licensed for individual use only. No sharing or resale
- Courses: For personal use only. Redistribution is prohibited
- Branding Materials: Strictly for Chasing Perspectives use only
4. Refund Policy (Digital Products)
- Online courses include a 30-day money-back guarantee (subject to completion of refund questionnaire)
- Presets, eBooks, and digital downloads are non-refundable
5. User Conduct
Customers agree not to:
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Copy, distribute, or share materials without permission
Violations may result in revoked access without refund.
6. Limitation of Liability
Chasing Perspectives is not liable for any damages arising from use of our products or services, including indirect or consequential damages.
7. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
9. Photography Workshops – Terms & Conditions
By booking or participating in a workshop, you agree to the following:
Workshop Fees
Workshop fees include tuition, transport during the workshop, accommodation (where specified), and park access where applicable.
Workshop fees do not include:

Flights

Airport transfers (unless specified)
-
Travel insurance
-
Personal expenses
Participants are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance including medical, travel, and cancellation cover.
Accommodation
Accommodation is typically 3 to 4 star standard unless otherwise stated. We aim to provide a comfortable and practical stay aligned with the workshop experience.
Travel to and from Workshop
Participants are responsible for arranging their own transport to the workshop start location and from the end location unless otherwise specified.
Medical Requirements
Participants must be in suitable health to attend. Any medical conditions must be disclosed prior to the workshop.
Chasing Perspectives is not responsible for medical issues that arise during participation.
Refunds, Deposits and Transfers
• Deposits are non-refundable after the stated no refund period of each workshop
• Workshop payments are non-refundable
• Bookings may be transferable to another workshop where applicable
Workshop Cancellations
Chasing Perspectives reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to:

Low participant numbers

Illness
-
Operational constraints
In the event of cancellation:

Participants will receive a full refund or
-
Be offered a transfer to another workshop of equal value
Refunds are limited to the workshop fee only. We are not responsible for external costs such as flights or other travel expenses.
Workshop Postponements & Rescheduling
Chasing Perspectives reserves the right to postpone or reschedule workshops due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

War, civil unrest, or geopolitical instability

Travel uncertainty or reduced participant confidence

Government restrictions or global travel disruptions

Weather or environmental conditions

Any external factor impacting the safe or viable operation of the workshop
In the event of postponement:

The workshop will be rescheduled to a future date

All bookings will be automatically transferred to the new date

The rescheduled workshop will be of equivalent value
Important Distinction
A postponed workshop is considered a rescheduled service, not a cancellation.
Refund Policy for Postponed Workshops
• All workshop payments remain non-refundable once the applicable no-refund period has passed, including in the event of a postponement or rescheduling
• All payments remain fully transferable to the rescheduled workshop date
• Transfers to alternative workshops may be offered subject to availability
Participant Acknowledgement
By booking, you acknowledge that:

Travel involves inherent risks, including global disruptions

Chasing Perspectives is not responsible for airline operations, border decisions, or insurance outcomes

Personal decisions not to travel do not qualify for refunds
Insurance Responsibility
Participants are responsible for obtaining travel insurance that suits their needs.
Chasing Perspectives does not guarantee that:

Postponements

Operational changes
-
Global events
will be covered by any insurance provider.
Participant Risk, Liability & Safety
Participation in photography workshops involves travel to remote and natural environments and carries inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to:

Uneven terrain, cliffs, water, wildlife, and changing weather conditions

Transport-related risks
-
Physical exertion and environmental exposure
-
Delays, disruptions, or limited access to medical facilities
By participating in a workshop, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chasing Perspectives and Josh Beames will not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or death arising from:

Participation in any workshop or related activity

Acts or omissions of third-party providers (including transport, accommodation, or tour operators)

Events beyond our control, including weather, natural events, or external disruptions
This includes any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Personal Responsibility
Participants are responsible for:

Assessing their own physical ability to participate

Acting in a safe and reasonable manner at all times

Following all instructions provided during the workshop
Chasing Perspectives reserves the right to remove any participant who behaves in a way that puts themselves or others at risk, without refund.
Medical & Emergency Responsibility
Participants acknowledge that:

They are responsible for their own medical care and expenses

Travel insurance with appropriate medical and evacuation cover is strongly recommended

Access to emergency services may be delayed or limited in remote locations
Acknowledgement of Risk
By booking and attending a workshop, you acknowledge that:

You participate voluntarily and at your own risk

You understand the nature of the environments involved

You accept full responsibility for any personal injury, loss, or damage that may occur
