This 9 day Shark Bay, Coral Bay and Ningaloo Reef photography workshop takes you along Western Australia’s spectacular Coral Coast. From the surreal textures of Shark Bay and pastel salt ponds to the turquoise lagoons of Ningaloo, you will photograph powerful seascapes, reef patterns and remote outback landscapes while working with a small, supportive group.

Hey, I'm JOSH BEAMES
I’m an Australian landscape photographer sponsored by Nikon, and I’ve spent the past decade exploring and photographing some of the world’s most dramatic and remote environments, deserts, salt lakes, Iceland, Norway, Australia’s Outback, Canada, and the Arctic just to name a few.
I run photography workshops across Australia and around the world each year, and I love helping photographers build confidence, clarity, and creativity in the field. This Ningaloo, Coral Bay & Shark Bay adventure brings together some of Western Australia’s wildest coastal scenery, and I’ll guide you through capturing everything from aerial patterns and turquoise reefs to canyon ridgelines and ocean light.
You’ll learn foundational techniques through to more advanced skills such as bracketing, focus stacking, drone photography, long exposures, underwater photography, night shooting under some of the darkest skies, and how to build intentional storytelling across such a diverse coastline. Every lesson is taught on location so you can apply it immediately.
My goal is simple: to help you capture Western Australia’s Coral Coast in its most powerful moments and return home with images you’re genuinely proud of.
