Tour Overview

During this Faroe Islands photography workshop, we will explore some of the most stunning and iconic locations in the region. From the captivating Múlafossur Waterfall, which cascades into the ocean surrounded by rugged cliffs, to the picturesque Kallur Lighthouse perched atop dramatic sea-facing hills, this workshop is designed to capture the unparalleled beauty of the islands. You’ll also visit the serene village of Saksun, with its traditional turf-roof houses and idyllic surroundings, as well as the impressive Fossá Waterfall, one of the highest on the islands, offering spectacular views.

Other highlights include the quaint Gjógv Village, known for its colorful houses and natural harbor, and the remote Mykines Island, where you’ll photograph both the lighthouse and the vibrant seabird colonies, including puffins. The workshop also takes you to Lake Sørvágsvatn, the famous optical illusion lake that appears to hover above the ocean, and the striking landscapes of Ásmundarstakkur and Eiðiskollur, with their towering cliffs and sweeping vistas.

We’ll focus on capturing these locations at their best, with sessions during sunrise and sunset, as well as opportunities for night photography under clear skies. You’ll stay in comfortable accommodations near our key shooting spots, ensuring that you can easily access these incredible scenes during optimal lighting conditions.
